Jo has been teaching yoga in Sydney and prior to that London for 4 years. She trained in Vinyasa flow yoga (200 hr) with Nicole Walsh at In Yoga, who has continued to be an inspiring mentor, followed by movement led Strala Yoga (30 hours) with Tara Stiles in Singapore, and Embodied Flow with Tara Judelle (50 hrs). Jo also trained in Thai Yin Yoga (150 hr) with Sherrie Peck and loves the depth of mind that can be achieved with a quiet, yin practice.
Her classes are a fluid flow of breath and movement; playful and uplifting, with an undercurrent of strength for the mind and body.
“I dipped my toe in the yogi water about ten years ago now, and practised a few styles such as Hatha, Anusara and Iyengar with some amazing teachers, but when I found the grace of Vinyasa, it just felt like coming home. From that day onwards, yoga has become a daily practice, both on and off the mat.”
