Rebecca discovered yoga whilst working in a stressful and unfulfilling job as a lawyer. Fascinated by how great it made her feel on a physical, mental, and spiritual level, she now wishes to share its various benefits through teaching.
Rebecca completed her 200 hour training with Power Living and has since completed a further 300 hours sequencing course with Noelle Connolly. She then advanced her teaching with an 800 hour Certificate IV at Byron Yoga Centre.
For Rebecca, yoga is a way to break through boundaries, both physically and mentally.
“The obstacles we face on our mats at a micro level often reflect our lives at the macro level.”
She believes strongly that as we age, our bodies and minds do not have to deteriorate so rapidly, and a consistent yoga practice allows us to keep our ‘yoga glow’ through all stages of life!
Rebecca likes a strong flow, and her classes are all about playfully testing limits. She uses her gymnastics background as a tool to gently encourage students to explore outside of their comfort zone. There is nothing quite like a well earned savasana!
